Every now and then I come across a great piece of writ­ing that’s in the pub­lic domain. Usu­ally I find these on Project Guten­berg, but they may come from any­where. Any­way, I some­times con­vert these text files into PDFs with a nav­i­ga­ble table of con­tents. You can click on the chap­ter name in the table of con­tents and it’ll take you directly to that chap­ter. You can then click on the chap­ter name again and it’ll take you back to the table of contents.

Note: These books are in the pub­lic domain in the U.S. If you’re from a dif­fer­ent coun­try, you’ll need to check your local laws.

It’s noth­ing amaz­ing, but it’s damned nice to have. And you can down­load them for free here.
